The vision for Murrell Green is to create a beautiful, walkable and sustainable new village. A place where people wish to live, work, learn and play and which future generations will be proud to inherit.
A collaborative design approach puts landscape at the fore, nestling development between established trees, hedgerows and water features, with opportunities to deliver extensive new public open space and biodiversity net gain.
This, coupled with site's excellent connectivity, will create a vibrant, sustainable and healthy community for many years to come.
A Beautiful Village
Murrell Green will be an attractive village in which it is natural and easy to settle, live, work and enjoy spending time.
A Network of Green Spaces
Murrell Green will provide an expansive and interlinked network of greenspaces from nature walks through to parkland and playing pitches to boost happiness and health.
A Community with Heart
A new centre will be a focus to serve the community. A smaller centre will reflect a secondary focal area around the new school and within ready walking distance of existing and new businesses.

Murrell Green will be designed to be safe and enjoyable to walk and cycle about.
In communion with the past, the present and the future
Murrell Green will use local and traditional materials and design whilst enjoying the most up-to-date standards for energy efficient living.
New Schools: A Place to Learn
Murrell Green will host a new all-through school integrated into networks that children can safely move freely within. This will host a nursery, pre-school, primary school and secondary school provision.
