Welcome to the community consultation website for the proposed new village at Murrell Green.

Lightwood is proposing to create a new village at Murrell Green located between Hook, Winchfield and Hartley Wintney.

The purpose of this consultation is to inform the local community about the proposals and to provide an opportunity for feedback ahead of a planning application in 2026.

A public consultation event is due to be held that will provide an opportunity for people to come and talk with the project team on the proposals. A public consultation event will be held at the time/date and location below that will provide information shown on this website.

The collated feedback will be summarised within a Statement of Community Involvement that will be submitted with, and inform, the future planning application.

Further engagement will then occur through the planning application process led by Hart District Council.
